Family law matters have deeply personal and life-long implications for each individual who experiences them. At the law office of Siemens Family Law Group, we often represent clients at a time of turmoil and high emotional stress.
We see our role as that of a guide, helping our clients through the legal steps in a difficult and sometimes painful process. We offer high-quality personal legal representation in cases of divorce, separation, dissolution of domestic partnerships, and all associated matters, including property division, child custody and support, and spousal support.
We want to maximize impact and strengthen community relationships, so we picked five areas of focus for our philanthropy: Natural Resources, People in Need, Animals in Need, Health and Wellness, and Cultural Resources. Then, we aligned these five areas of giving with five of Western North Carolina’s leading non-profits to create our inaugural 2019 Community Partnerships.
For the second year of the program, in 2020, Highland is digging deeper with the same five area non-profits and areas of giving. In addition to the very popular Cat Cafes with the Humane Society and seasonal hikes with SAHC, Highland will also include new program initiatives that will help grow the partnerships and the program.
Meechan Architectural Photography specializes in architectural and interior design photography.
As an architectural photographer, my job is to partner with my clients to accurately interpret design intent and to document the finished creation in images; in essence, to become the visual messenger. There is an inherent fine balance in architectural photography between the factual representation of the design and the creative expression of the photograph. It takes a dedicated and detailed approach to reach this balance and to create compelling images that accurately represent form and space.
Achieving this balance is the foundation of Meechan Architectural Photography. It transcends ordinary photography into visual expressive documentation that draws the viewer into the space, evoking passion and understanding of the design and its elements.

That’s our goal at The Chop Shop Butchery, and we’re doing it by partnering with great local and regional farmers to do it. We carry premium meats from animals raised in the best way possible—all-natural, sustainable, ethical farming. These animals live natural stress-free lives and are not treated with antibiotics, hormones or fed animal by-products and therefore produce healthy, great-tasting meat. By being a small, independent shop we can have direct relationships with farmers so we can tell you specifics about each cut of meat we carry.
